When I first met with Laura and John, I knew their wedding was going to be pretty epic. You see, Laura is a proud graduate of West Virginia University. Her husband John, is an alumnus of the University of Pittsburgh. When they told me their spring wedding was to be held at Heinz Memorial Chapel, with their wedding reception at the Pittsburgh Athletic Association, it was almost a requirement that we pay a visit to Morgantown for their engagement session. Being a WVU grad myself , I was SO happy to be back on WVU’s campus! Tristan (a Pitt grad) and John weren’t exactly thrilled to say the least. There was an equal amount of teasing going on at both their engagement session and wedding, and when Country Roads played at Laura and John’s reception, I will admit to having shed a tear or two. 🙂
