What a gorgeous day.  It was a true honor to be Jennifer and Justin’s photographer!!  Here is a little sneak peek!

Stay tuned!  More to come next week!!!

Continuing with Conniel and Siamak’s awesome wedding day……. (you can find Part 1 here.)

Conniel and Siamak’s reception was at the Chapel Shelter at Riverview Park on Pittsburgh’s North Side.  The Chapel Shelter is the oldest building in the park, and it was restored in 2006.  It is a beautiful venue for a wedding celebration!

There was an area on the side of the building for the reception…..

Siamak is Iranian, and before the reception festivities commenced, they held a traditional Persian ceremony, called an Aghd.  Here are Siamak and Conniel walking down the path to their guests:

Conniel and Siamak are sitting in front of the Sofreh Aghd (wedding spread).  All of the items on the Sofreh Aghd have very special meanings and symbolism.  There also was beautiful Persian music playing as they entered!

Here is one of Siamak’s relatives rubbing sugar over them.  This is done to “shower them in sweetness”.

After they are married, both Siamak and Conniel dip their pinky fingers in honey and feed each other.

Conniel looking gloriously happy!!!!

Great toasts by the wedding party…..

PARTY!!!

There is a special place for the game of cornhole in the hearts of both Conniel and Siamak.  A photo of them in their wedding attire while playing cornhole was very important to them.  Love it!

It POURED the night before Conniel and Siamak were to be married.  On their wedding day, we were left with beautiful overcast clouds.  It was just perfect.  I am SO excited to share the story of Conniel and Siamak’s wedding day through my photos!  Take a look…..

Conniel and Siamak were HILARIOUS.  They asked for the next few photos to be taken!

Conniel’s mom and brother, Tennyson.

I wanted to include this next photo with the hopes that you could hear this woman’s beautiful voice.  No?  You can’t hear it??  HAHA!  This lady sang this for Conniel’s processional.  And I cried.  Like a baby.   I NEVER cry at weddings.  It was gorgeous.

Tennyson walked Conniel down the aisle.  He’s such a great big brother.
