Anna and Thomas were married up in Sharon, Pennsylvania.  You know, home of The Winner, Daffins, and Reyers.  But in Anna and Thomas’s case, home of Buhl Mansion.  I was SO excited to shoot at Buhl Mansion, having played there many times as a musician.

Here are some shots from Anna and Thomas’s wedding day.  Enjoy!!

This one was taken by my ab-fab assistant, Tristan Milnthorp:

Thomas speaking with his brother (and best man), Greg before the ceremony:

Anna is Mexican, and she chose to include a couple of Mexican traditions in the ceremony.  At one point during the Mass, the mothers of the couple came up and put a lasso (el lazo) of rosary beads around them.  The lasso symbolizes unity and love.

A little later, Thomas presented the 13 Gold Coins to Anna.  The coins represent his support, trust and confidence.  Here is a shot of the coins (trece monedas de oro):

I love this shot of Anna at Our Lady of Guadalupe:

After some formal portraits in the church, we returned to the Buhl Mansion for some bridal portrait fun!

Thank you Anna and Thomas for being such a wonderful couple!  I had a blast shooting your wedding day 🙂

I had the honor of shooting Marcy and Jim’s wedding on April 18th. It was a small, intimate ceremony with Marcy’s daughter and Jim’s three daughters in attendance. The ceremony was heartfelt and lovely (I’ll admit I cried just a little bit!). Afterwards, Marcy opened a gift which was given to her by all four girls…..you can see how much she loved it by her reaction below 🙂

Marcy and Jim: Thank you for choosing me to photograph such an important event in your life 🙂

Here are some of my favorite shots from the day……
