CHILDREN’S MUSEUM OF PITTSBURGH WEDDING

I don’t think you could pack more energy and love (and color!) into this wedding at the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh.  Ariel and Peter’s cups definitely runneth over.  After they were married under the brightest and most colorful chuppah I’ve ever seen (created by the always brilliant, Jimmy from Green Sinner), they danced their butts off to the reggae sounds of a fabulous and energetic band called Yellow Dubmarine.

It wasn’t easy to get Ariel to sit still.  She was a beautiful little ball of excited energy the ENTIRE day!   Her portraits started out normally…..

After their portraits, we went back inside to sign the ketubah…

At the entrance to the ceremony space was a confetti bar!!  Guests were invited to create their own mix of confetti, each color labeled as well wishes for the couple, such as heath and happiness.  After Ariel and Peter were married, the guests pelted them with their “well wishes”, aka confetti!!  Cool, right?!

There were a LOT of creative things Ariel did to make her reception extra special, much of which I will share in another blog post at a later date.  For now, take a look at all of the colorful flowers and black and white striped tablecloths which decorated the tables.  Ariel’s reception was a fantastic combination of Boho-chic with an explosion of color!
