A great all-in-one wedding venue is The Grand Hall at the Priory on the North Side of Pittsburgh.
The inside is just as beautiful as the outside…
I’ve seen this room set up many ways. Tall centerpieces compliment the tall ceilings beautifully…
The bridal party usually sits where the altar used to be. Other times, they are at a sweetheart table on the floor among the guests…

Some couples go up into the choir loft for an “end of the night” photo. Other times, the couple requests a photo of all the guests on the dance floor.

I’ve seen the cake in a few different places, but most commonly it is placed along the right wall, or up near where the bridal party is seated.

If you’re having your wedding ceremony or reception at Stage AE, you need to check out these amazing photos!
It is a requirement of all couples who have their wedding at Stage AE to get a photo with the giant Stage AE sign! Ali and Billy fit perfectly between the letters, no?
Our beautiful city makes a fantastic backdrop for wedding photos.
Since Stage AE is a performance space, it basically is a giant black box. Uplighting is KEY to decorating this space!
I almost passed out when I saw this reception space.
Thank goodness Ali and Billy hired a photographer who knew what she was doing when it comes to lighting (that’s me by the way). This space is so gigantic and BLACK, that light just gets immediately sucked up into the walls and ceiling. There’s no bouncing any light here, people.
And if you’re going to have a wedding reception in a concert venue, then you NEED to hire a live band!
