When it’s both a wedding day and a rainy day here in Pittsburgh, our go-to location for photos is the David L. Lawrence Convention Center downtown. If you are a photographer worth your salt, you’ll know immediately how to photograph the gorgeous light that lives here.
We lucked out on Peggy and Ron’s wedding day because the lighting at the Convention Center was blue! Unfortunately, there is no way we can color of the lights….but we can hope for the best!
There were no colored lights to be found on Katie and Andy’s wedding day, and it worked out beautifully. Look how the girls just pop off the dark background…
The convention center is so versatile, we can go from a concrete, urban backdrop on one side, to a river and yellow bridges on the other!
…..and we can’t forget about the foliage!
Katie and Andy were married at the beginning of November. The trees were still beautiful!
